This week, we welcomed two classes from Demetae Academy in Newcastle to the Staffordshire ERF for an interactive learning session. These bright young minds had been studying environmental studies in the classroom and were eager to bring their learning to life.
Our young visitors came armed with tough questions, and the team and I were happy to provide answers that satisfied their curiosity. After the session, we took them on a tour of the ERF, where they met our operatives in the control room and got to see our furnace up close.
When we asked the students what their favorite part of the day was, one student summed it up perfectly: "There were too many fun and exciting things to name just one!"
The team at Staffordshire ERF were thrilled to have inspired the next generation of environmental leaders and look forward to welcoming Demetae Academy back in the future for more thought-provoking questions!
